    What really stuck in my head in early recovery, was the whole allergy concept. That I had developed a physical allergy to alcohol, and that I wasn’t weak, was very helpful to hear.

  8. In spite of how it feels, and what your head tells you, you can get and stay sober. Accept the help you are offered and take it a day at a time. It will get easier, it will get better.
